The PIERRE Wave - Rounded Series 1 Gang 2 Way Main Light Switch (no Neutral) switches the load in a two-way arrangement — the circuit is wired to this switch, and a Secondary switch at the other position commands it over PIERRE Wave rather than through traditional strapper wiring.
It operates without a neutral, which is what makes it suitable for retrofit in older properties, and it will accept a neutral where one is present.
Running from 100-240 V AC 50/60 Hz, it switches one channel rated 5-500 W for incandescent, 5-150 W for compact fluorescent and 5-150 W for LED lighting. The LED figure is the one to size against on a modern installation.
The switch communicates over PIERRE Wave (Zigbee 3.0, 2.4 GHz) at +20 dBm, and repeats for other PIERRE Wave devices, so each one added strengthens the mesh rather than only drawing on it.
The front is tempered glass in white, mounting to an 86x86x50 mm box with 60 mm fixing centres.
Pair it with the Rounded Series 1 Gang 2 Way Secondary Light Switch at the second position.
