Energy saving
Saving energy is mostly a matter of not wasting it. PIERRE coordinates lighting, heating, shading, and power across the whole building so nothing runs when it does not need to.
Nothing runs when it does not need to
Lights never stay on in an empty room. Heating warms a room before you arrive and eases off when you leave, and an open window pauses it instead of wasting it. Blinds follow the sun to keep rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
Without PIERRE, lights are left on, heating runs all day just in case, standby power drains around the clock, and a leak is found when the bill arrives. With PIERRE each of those is handled the moment it happens, and every action is logged so unusual consumption is easy to spot.
Lighting that turns itself off
Motion and schedules make sure lights are never left on in an empty room.
Heating only where needed
Rooms warm up before you arrive and ease off when you leave.
Shading that helps
Blinds follow the sun, lowering the bill in summer and winter alike.
Water under control
Sensors keep irrigation to what plants need, and a burst pipe is shut off automatically.
No standby drain
A tap, or the Goodnight scene, cuts standby power across the home.
You see where it goes
Every action is logged, so unusual consumption is easy to spot.
